Hostess Responsibilites and Benefits

As a hostess, you have certain responsibilities that you must complete for the party.

• Book your date 3 to 4 weeks in advance.
• Decide on theme and location of your portrait party.
• Send invitations, supplied by Breanne Kessler Photography, out to all your possible guests.
• Schedule all guest appointments in 20mn sessions with approximately 10 minute break in between each session.
• Send the guest list to Breanne Kessler Photography at least 1 week prior to the portrait party, including contact information for each guest.
• Call to remind each guest prior to the party.
• Provide the photographer at least a 10X10 space, preferrably away from the other guests
• Be present for the entire party and provide simple light snacks to the guests. Please nothing messy and sticky.
• Pick up and deliver to all the guests their completed orders when available.

• A free 30 minute personal pre-party photo session

What is a Portrait Party?

Its a fun way to earn FREE portraits in the comfort of your own home! As a Hostess of a portrait party, you invite friends and family to your home or location of your choice for a professional portrait session. Each guest will receive a 20 minute "mini" session with no minimum order and just a small sitting fee of $20.00, thats a discount of nearly 75% from the regular session fee.

Each child in the party will receive a time slot for 20 minutes with a 10 minute wind-down period. Since the child will be ready and the theme of the party is set, our time together should produce 15-30 final images for each child.

This is a fantastic opportunity for your guests to receive reduced prices for the photo shoot, along with exclusive print packages offered only for the portrait parties. At the same time, the hostess will receive fabulous benefits for her time and effort!

Each party should have around 6-8 families/children booked for the party. There is a minimum of 6 families/children required to book a party. The hostess will recieve invitations to send to friends and family. The invited guests will contact the hostess to schedule their session times. Each session must be scheduled consecutively. There are several options to choose from regarding theme and location for your party.
