I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas!! It was nice to take a break and enjoy the holidays with my family. We stayed here this year and had a quiet Christmas at home. The boys (2 and 3) had a fantastic Christmas! Santa was good to them this year!! I am getting back to editing my sessions. Please be patient and those galleries will be up I promise! Hehe!
Today I had the pleasure of photographing Ms. M and I think I laughed the entire time! My husband said it sounded like a slumberparty! Thats what its all about right? Having fun and enjoying your session! I had the opportunity to meet Ms. M for coffee earlier this week and I think we ended up talking for a couple hours! She is fabulous and she brought with her 2 fabulous friends! I look forward to working with them as well...hint hint!! =) To Ms. M, I am so honored that you chose me to photograph you! You have chosen to give your husband to be a fantastic gift and I know he is going to flip!!! He will love these! I hope you do too!!

Oh did I have fun today! Man I LOVE what I get to do! I photographed a wonderful family today! They should look familiar, I photographed Mommy and Daddy earlier this year and now I had the pleasure of meeting their new addition, Braxton! Oh is he adorable! He was sleepy and loved to be curled up in a ball, it was fabulous! To Braxton's Mommy and Daddy, thank you so much for trusting in me to capture your precious new baby. I had a wonderful time! Daddy, have a safe trip and we will keep the photographs coming!!

Newborns are so precious and beautiful! It is so important to make sure to capture every moment in the first week of life! If you're interested in having your newborn photographed please don't hesitate to email me. Newborns are photographed best within the first 2 weeks of life. It's even better within the first week of life!! They are sleepy and still in that glorious curled stage!!
I had the honor of shooting another fabulous Boudoir client today! It was a blast, even with some unexpected events (darn studio lights)! I have been so priviledge to be shooting with such beautiful women, both inside and out! I am truely blessed to have such amazing clients. I am just amazed at how fabulous each of my boudoir clients have been! Yay!! I'm so lucky!!! To Ms M. thank you so much for trusting me to capture these gorgeous photos of you. I hope you had a wonderful time, I know I did! Your husband is going to LOVE LOVE his present!

I hope everyone is having an awesome weekend! I wanted to make sure everyone had a heads up on my upcoming 2009 price increase. While I am not ready to make the prices public yet...I wanted any potential clients to be aware that my prices are increasing a bit in 2009. However, if you book your session by Dec 31, 2008 your session will be subject to my current 2008 prices. This is even if your actual session is in 2009! What a deal! So I highly encourage you to book a session with me asap to take advantage of this end of year deal!

A question that I am always asked is "Where should I get my hair and makeup done". I always recommend my clients treat themselves to a professional hair and makeup session because it really adds to the look of the images. I've had some clients do their own makeup and they look fantastic. For those that either a. unsure how to do it themselves, or b. would like to treat themselves, I recommend you find out if your salon has makeup application services. The important things to remember is that the application need to be photography ready and its important to think of the look and feel that you're going for and talk to both myself and the artist to determine what you should do.
I have had fantastic experience with Pampered & Polished Salon-Spa located in North Pole. Valerie Christie is the Owner and she is wonderful! I had the pleasure of meeting Valerie yesterday and she is so nice and she knows exactly what photography ready makeup should look like. I've been extremely impressed with the looks my clients have arrived with! Here are a few examples, you will recoginize these gorgeous ladies!
